What Paddington tells us about German v British manners

Living in Germany is a very pleasant experience for me. So, far I was comparing German life-style with the rest of the world and enjoyed the similarities and uniqueness of German way of lives. German by nature very clear, open, and direct people unlike Britons don't be to appear friendly, say things they don't really mean. Some Germans call this "lying". Here is an interesting article to read the differences between German and Briton way of lives.

Festival in Darmstadt: Korean Food

Born This Way (Special Edition)

Kimchi (김치)

Kimchi (김치) is a traditional fermented dish, made of vegetables with variety of seasoning. Kimchi may also refer to unfermented vegetable dishes. There are hundreds of varieties of kimchi, made with a main vegetable ingredient such as Chinese cabbage, radish or green onions. Kimchi is the most common banchan, or side dish, in Korean cuisine. Kimchi is also a main ingredient for many popular Korean dishes such as kimchi stew or kimchi jjigae (김치찌개), kimchi soup (김칫국), and kimchi fried rice or kimchi bokkeumbap (김치볶음밥).In fact Kimchi will be visible in every meal whether it is lunch or supper.

Korean Learning: Learning some phrases

Korean Learning: A fun and joy

Anyeong: Korean 'Hi'

Korean language has both formal and informal co-notations and people highly observe the slight of tune and formalities. For instance, with elders if someone want to say high then he/she need to say '안녕하세요: Annyeonghaseyo'. But for youngster or same age fellow we use '안녕: Annyeong'. Similarly for bye: formal (안녕히 가세요: Annyeonghi Gaseyo) and informal (안녕히 가세요: Gaseyo).
